Open Print Workshop System in the Art College
In China, most printmaking students are forced to take on a different job after graduation. The key factor leading to this problem is the severe lack of equipment for the artists. Secondly, the public lacks understanding of printmaking as an art medium, resulting in the low creative motivation of artists. Therefore, I designed the service system to solve this problem.
The target audience of the project is the graduates of printmaking, and the relevant stakeholders are art colleges, print students and print lovers in the society. Through my design, printmaking studio can maximize the use of resources and graduates can continue to create printmaking art. By the supplementary teaching of the graduates, the students can get more technical support; The workshop, which is open to the public during school holidays, also helps the public understand the art medium of print. Of course, in the long run, the ultimate goal of the project is to make printmaking art an important part of the Chinese art market
